kidding_guy 0
I think after the release of 16.2.13.0 I am unable to connect via iTunes (downloaded via Microsoft Store) on my Windows 11 machine. The message that I get is error connected to AirPlay device. When I pause the firewall [allow all traffic] the connection can be made, and music will be played on my Sonos. Also... when using the Sonos app on Windows 11, and connecting Apple Music, everything works perfectly. Before using 16.2.13.0 everything was working OK. Can I set a rule in the Firewall for this? And if so... how do I point to the Windows Store version of iTunes? Or is this something related to the update and does ESET need to do something here? kidding_guy 0
Done. Can I upload it here, or for privacy matters better in a DM?
Administrators Marcos 4,841 Posted August 18 Administrators Share Posted August 18 It doesn't matter, only ESET staff can access attachments.

Administrators Solution Marcos 4,841 Posted August 18 Administrators Solution Share Posted August 18 Default firewall rules are ok, no custom rules are created. It is inbound communication from 192.168.1.208:35115 which is blocked. I'd recommend allowing the communication via this option or by using interactive or learning mode until the necessary rule is created:

I unblocked iTunes via this setting. Strange that this somehow popped up recently... And can I also unblock the NT Kernel & System? I know that 192.168.1.1 is my router. Don't know what the .18 IP-address/device is about... Edited August 18 by kidding_guy
kidding_guy 0
Since this blocking of iTunes is 'default behavior' shouldn't this rule be updated so that it's fine to use? Like I said... I have not have issues with this before. Maybe around since the time this new came along I have not been able te stream music via Windows Store's iTunes and my Sonos.
