nucar 0 Posted August 15, 2023 Posted August 15, 2023 From google search results, click on a query result link and it is correctly blocked in the newly open browser tab. However hit the browser back button and you have full access to the website. I have Chrome or Samsung Internet browser with this issue. Not sure when this issue started, maybe a month or so ago. I submitted same details to support case with logs, and they come back with general email asking for a description of the problem, OS and product versions. Isn't this info in the submitted logs? Anyone having this bug?
Administrators Marcos 5,741 Posted August 16, 2023 Administrators Posted August 16, 2023 This has been already reported by somebody and the issue is pending investigation. You can raise a support ticket via the built-in form and let logs to be submitted to ESET for perusal. P_EMPC1A-7628
nucar 0 Posted August 23, 2023 Author Posted August 23, 2023 Support says it is a bug, they are working on resolution, to be fixed in mid October 2023.
nucar 0 Posted November 20, 2023 Author Posted November 20, 2023 Current Version 5.2.1.0 released in June 2023 has this bug. Still waiting for fix to be released which support said was to happen in October. Web filtering is a primary feature of a parental control app, which is why I paid for it. I am disappointed.
Administrators Marcos 5,741 Posted November 20, 2023 Administrators Posted November 20, 2023 This should be fixed in the next version of Parental Control which is planned for 24/H1.
