astunce 0
Hello everyone, I have eset smart security 8 on windows 8.1. I created a network wifi hotspot to share my connection with my smartphone using these commands:netsh wlan set hostednetwork mode=allow ssid=nome key=password keyUsage=persistentnetsh wlan start hostednetworkThe network works perfectly if and only if I disable the firewall eset, otherwise the firewall is blocking the connection to me and my smartphone can not navigate. How can I fix? SweX 871
Don't forget to exit learning mode when done.
Shubham Dubey 0
I'm facing same issue, I also set to learning mode but unable to connect. Devices stucks in obtaining IP address. This problem doesn't getting solve after disabling firewall My Person firewall was working perfect when I was using Norton Security.

Run the Firewall troubleshooting wizard to get a list of recently blocked communications and allow the desired one(s).

Did you remove all traces of Norton Internet Security before installing Eset? That would include running its "cleaner tool" after uninstalling via the Windows method.
