kamiran.asia 5
Hi dears. this week many of our servers become yellow in ESET Protect console with this alert : Your operating system is outdated You're using an outdated version of your operating system. To receive the latest product updates and stay protected in the future, upgrade your operating system. See your options: https://support-eol.eset.com As you can see at the Screenshot attache " Windows 2012 - 2019 " and this alert can not be disable in Application status !!! What can we do for these many yellow servers that most of them are in isolated network !! Why these alerts can not be off from application statuses . These are very annoying. Administrators Marcos 4,841 Posted July 11 Administrators Share Posted July 11 Did you install the appropriate Windows update adding ACS support for these operating systems as per https://support.microsoft.com/en-au/topic/kb5022661-windows-support-for-the-azure-code-signing-program-4b505a31-fa1e-4ea6-85dd-6630229e8ef4 ? Currently we have the Antivirus and antispyware module 1600.1 on the pre-release update channel. One of the changes will be: Show more specific message in console if the client is not compatible with ACS.
kamiran.asia 5
We must work on this case , But Windows 7 and 2008 need ESU for these updates , So ESET will stop update on 7 and 2008 after DEC 2023 !
Administrators Marcos 4,841 Posted July 11 Administrators Share Posted July 11 On systems without ACS support HIPS and firewall modules will stop receiving updates after December 7, 2023 (probably a bit earlier but that's the final deadline).
