Administrators Marcos 5,404 Posted July 11, 2023 Administrators Share Posted July 11, 2023 This particular check was added via a module update and was not a part of the program / ESET PROTECT at the time they were built. After December 8, 2023 systems without ACS support will not receive updates of all modules, such as HIPS and firewall.

slarkins 5
I understand Windows 8 and WIndows 7, Windows 2008 server and probably 2012 triggering the OS out of date(BTW ESET...i dont need my AV vendor telling me the obvious and no way to turn off the warning cuttering up my admin console)...but why are some of my 2016 server triggering this message? What exactly is ACS support and what needs to be installed to meet the criteria? LesRMed

These changes were serviced to the supported Windows client and Windows server products through Windows Update. All versions of Windows 11 natively support Azure Code Signing for user mode PE files. Support for Azure Code Signing was made available in other client and server products starting with the releases listed below. Thank You dear Marcos . So as ESET mentioned in that link : Existing installations of ESET products will not be affected and will keep receiving module updates. So Windows 7 and 2008 R2 do not need to install required KB to receive module updates . Is it correct ? Just for installation of new products and upgrade the old products ! Administrators Marcos 5,404 Posted July 14, 2023 Administrators Share Posted July 14, 2023 We are still not sure if older versions (probably Endpoint 9.0 and older) will be able to receive updates of kernel modules after Dec 2023.
