Antoniano 1 Posted June 14, 2013 Posted June 14, 2013 (edited) I cannot found any options about this function on settings. Did you remove this function from V7? For me it is a great function. BTW: I strongly condemn the “卡巴专家” (so-called "Kaspersky Expert") for his/her unauthorized republishing behavior in "KaFan forum" (Top antivirus community in china): hxxp://bbs.kafan.cn/thread-1620662-1-1.html Edited September 8, 2013 by Antoniano
Administrators Marcos 5,466 Posted June 14, 2013 Administrators Posted June 14, 2013 As of v7, active mode is used automatically as needed.
Antoniano 1 Posted June 14, 2013 Author Posted June 14, 2013 (edited) As of v7, active mode is used automatically as needed. If active mode is still available, it should display a warning page when I download a infected file from Internet, but now V7 just prompt me a notification window without warning page... Administrators Marcos 5,466 Posted June 16, 2013 Administrators Posted June 16, 2013 Must add, that after excluding Firefox from protocol filtering downloaded malware (7-zip archive) was not quarantined automatically. This is pretty expected. You removed Firefox from content filtering, ie. files downloaded via Firefox will not be scanned by Web access protection. As you wrote, malware was detected in either case; it doesn't matter whether a warning is displayed in a bubble or as a web page as long as malware is detected and blocked / removed.
