I can't make my update stop. It hung. Now it is hung on cancelling for like two hours!

I just can't make my update stop.  It says I am not allowed, need more permissions, etc.  I am the owner. But can't!  i JUST want it to stop.  It has been almost four hours.  It is now hung on cancelling update and has been for like two of those hours. I want to scream it is clogging up my entire computer!

Please carry on as follows:

1. Reboot the machine
2. Make sure that Internet connection is established
3. Enable advanced logging under Help and support -> Technical support
4. Run update and reproduce the issue
5. Stop logging
6. Collect logs with ESET Log Collector
7. Sign up for this forum and re-post in the appropriate product forum while enclosing the archive generated by ELC.
