Is it alright to enable periodic scanning by Microsoft Defender whilst using ESET Smart Security Premium

My question is if it alright to enable periodic scanning by Microsoft Defender whilst using ESET Smart Security Premium.

Will there be a clash if both programs are enabled at the same time?

To my best knowledge, periodic scanning doesn't clash with any 3rd party AV that may be installed.
