tmuster2k 22
have a client who wants to buy ESET Nod32 Linux and is currently at Ubuntu Version 12. From some reports I see online it may not be fully supported but when you go to : hxxp://kb.eset.com/esetkb/index?page=content&id=SOLN37%C2'> it says its supported up to Ubuntu version 12.2. Does anyone have Nod32 V4 working on this version or are there still issues with the graphical user interface?
rugk 397
Could you please link to these reports? In the kb article it shows that ESET NOD32 for Linux is compatible to: ESET NOD32 Antivirus 4 for Linux DesktopDebian 6.0.7Fedora 18MandrivaRed HatSuSEUbuntu 12.10 and most RPM- and DEB-package manager based distributions However the kb article could be a bit out-date and maybe NOD32 for Linux also supports other Ubuntu versions. The best thing I would suggest is just to test it. You or the customer can download a 30-days trail for free and test it out. If it works it is glad ( - and great of course too). If not you can of course post the issues in this forum and we will try to help you or at least say that this version of Ubuntu isn't supported.
