Some questions about Eset Password Manager/smart Security

Recommended Posts

Hi, I am curious about experiences of the Password manager. There is little to be found about it. I am especially curious if there are any problems and how user-friendly it is. So tell your experience.

I'm using bitwarden now and was wondering if there are any reasons to switch to Eset's password manager instead?

The other question I have is if there is any data on the Protection against never‑before‑seen threats included in the smart security premium? Does this option actually ensure that you are better protected?

Yes, ESET Smart Security Premium supports ESET LiveGuard which is a cloud sandbox in which downloaded files are run and the behavior is evaluated prior to allowing execution on your machine. For more information, please read https://help.eset.com/essp/16.1/en-US/idh_config_liveguard.html and https://www.eset.com/int/about/technology/.

Wouw, the password manager is very popular. Becourse there is not much info or pictures how it looks like, I decided I won't upgrade. Also if I look how often the password manager on android is getting updates, it looks that it has not a high priority by Eset.

Strong speculation is Eset password manger is actually a bulk licensed version of SaferPass: https://saferpass.com/ . You can search the web for reviews/comments on it.
