Hi everyone

I bought license ESET Smart Security Premium, download 'eset_smart_security_premium_live_installer.exe' via eset home page. After clicking on file (also with "Run as administrator") windows 'preparing aplication' appers and second later closes.

I have Win 10 Home (22H2)

I checked logs from 'C:\Users\%username%\AppData\Local\Temp\eset\'. Below i paste part which fails. I will attach full file to the post.

It appears that the communication with ESET servers failed. Do you use a firewall or proxy that might be blocking it?

I don't think so. I didn't configure neighter of them

Please create a Wireshark log during installation. Besides the pcap log provide also logs collected with ESET Log Collector.

Please edit C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc\hosts, remove the following lines and reboot the machine. Then install ESET.

0.0.0.0 edf.eset.com
0.0.0.0 expire.eset.com
