massimo_ita 0
Hi all, is there any way to automatically have firewall activated after installation of the package: PROTECT_Installer_x64_it_IT_desktop.exe (agent + endpoint) thanks regards massimo
Administrators Marcos 4,718 Posted March 31 Administrators Share Posted March 31 Please elaborate more on the issue. The firewall as well as other modules get enabled as soon as you activate the product.
massimo_ita 0
as you can see the product is activated, but it still require the firewall component to be manually updated i've a lot of PCs to manage, i'd neet this to be automatic thanks massimo
Administrators Marcos 4,718 Posted March 31 Administrators Share Posted March 31 Didn't you install ESET Endpoint Security while being connected via RDP to the machine?
massimo_ita 0
Ah ok, this happens when i install the package connected with RDP?

Correct. Endpoint installs with the firewall inactive so that you can create the necessary rules or set up the trusted zone, otherwise it might cut your RDP connection. massimo_ita 0
i've set in the firewall rules (i'm new with Eset platform) as "known networks" the local IP class, i guess its sufficient, since right now i've no issues of this kind
