LawTeam07 0 Posted March 29, 2023 Posted March 29, 2023 Hello, This is my first time using the ESET Online Scanner and today it found an HTML/ScrInject.B trojan. It's currently in quarantine but there's no option to delete the file, only restore it. Right-clicking does not open up a delete option either. There's currently an NAF, NDF, NQF, and NQI file in the Quarantine folder. Will I need to delete all of these files in order to remove the trojan?
Administrators Solution Marcos 5,444 Posted March 29, 2023 Administrators Solution Posted March 29, 2023 You don't need to do anything. The scanner found the threat on your disk and cleaned it. Quarantine is a place where cleaned/removed files are stored in an encrypted (safe) form in case you would like to restore them at a later time. Unless the quarantined files take up a lot of disk space, you can keep them on the disk.
bledd 0 Posted April 27, 2023 Posted April 27, 2023 Keep the ESET scanner closed.. Winkey + R (run box) Paste this into it.. %LocalAppData%\ESET\ESETOnlineScanner\Quarantine Delete the contents of the folder. Relaunch the ESET scanner and quarantine will be empty :)
