Eset Internet Security Problem With Chrome VPN Extension (Not Working)

Recommended Posts

I am using latest eset internet security updated in windows os.

I installed a vpn extension on google chrome.

But it does not wotk with eset.

I tried every possible option to allow it through eset and all of them failed.

Such as add connected web sites in allowes web sites.

Disable eset totally such as firewall and real time protection.

Tried learning mode.

Does not work.

When i uninstall eset it works.

Please give me a solution on this.

I'd recommend raising a support ticket for help with further troubleshooting. Do you have QUIC protocol disabled in Chrome? Does temporarily disabling protocol filtering in the advanced setup make a difference?

means problem has nothing to do with chrome's settings.

Please answer the questions above. If the extension exists for other browsers, does the issue occur with Firefox too?

Please answer the question about disabling protocol filtering. Also provide steps how to install the Chrome extension for a test.

I've tried 1click VPN and didn't encounter any issues. Did you use a different VPN?

Last thing : Manipulating chrome settings is not a good idea specially security options.

This problem should be fix from eset side.

Yes - it is different.

So what VPN extension do you use? Without such essential information we cannot try to reproduce the issue.

Unfortunately you still haven't answered what VPN extension you use. Please provide a screenshot of Chrome extensions that you have installed.
