ESET Endpoint Antivirus deployed via Connectwise will not activate

This is a new problem, we have sufficient licensing, and we get an "Activation failed with ESET Endpoint Antivirus" message in the DEM.

Does anyone have suggestions on how to address this? Thanks.

The error message in the log files is "3/10/2023 10:18:08 AM;Licensing;ESET Endpoint Antivirus: Activation was not successful. (Activation failed in association. (ECP.13));SYSTEM" and ECP.13 doesn't appear to exist in KB6996 or KB7297 which both claim to list all ECP errors.

A support case is open with Connectwise, who has not responded with even an automated acknowledgement of the request and it is not possible to open a case with ESET because their ticket submission process only covers home and business users.

Since you have Endpoint, you are eligible for business support.

The form for business support requires an "Agreement Number" which I do not have or know where to find.

If you are a CW customer, you can simply open a ticket with ESET directly at helpus.eset.com if you require chat support, or call ESET NORAM support at 619-876-5696.
