YenAdobe 0
Hi there, I am hoping someone is able to assist. I am having a constant 100% CPU spike from ekrn on our business system. It seems to be related to sage. Is anyone aware of any issues? I have three procdump files I am able to provide for analysis? Though they are 208-367 Mb each... Many thanks, Yen
Administrators Marcos 4,720 Posted October 31, 2014 Administrators Share Posted October 31, 2014 Does temporarily disabling real-time protection help? If so, leave Procmon log logging operations for at least 30 seconds when the issue occurs. Then compress the log, upload it to a safe location and pm me the download link. YenAdobe 0
No, there is no difference when real-time is disabled, I have also tried to disable firewall with equal results. Just running a procmon now, will pm the result in a moment. Thanks, Y
YenAdobe 0
What program are you using to log process'? I have this: hxxp://technet.microsoft.com/en-gb/sysinternals/bb896645.aspx What would you like me to use? Thanks
Administrators Marcos 4,720 Posted October 31, 2014 Administrators Share Posted October 31, 2014 That's it but since disabling real-time protection doesn't make any difference, the log wouldn't be of any help. Now I'd suggest renaming the following drivers, one at a time, and see when the problem goes away: C:\Windows\System32\drivers\eamonm.sys C:\Windows\System32\drivers\ehdrv.sys
