Petr Mrazek 1
Hello, after update to 9.0.12017.0 on our DCs we have noticed a problem with ICMP and DNS packets from linux servers (RedHat 8). If we try to ping the DC server from a linux server - packet will reach the DC, but no response was send. Also no reply for DNS requests - died for timeout. Also the other way - ping from DC to linux server died to General failure. Complete uninstall of ESET Server Security resolved this problem. Administrators Marcos 4,587 Posted February 3 Administrators Share Posted February 3 Please open a support ticket. It's weird since ESET FIle Security for Linux servers provides only file system protection and doesn't have a network protection module that might intervene in network communication. It was not problem on ESET FIle Security for Linux, but on ESET Sever Security for Windows Server on DCs. Administrators Marcos 4,587 Posted February 3 Administrators Share Posted February 3 I'm very sorry for overlooking the product forum name. Does temporarily disabling network attack and/or botnet protection make a difference?

Does temporarily disabling network attack and/or botnet protection make a difference? We did not have time for testing, because we are running our ERP on RedHat server and it stop working...
