Compatibility Issues with addguard vpn

Recommended Posts

When using an ESET vaccine with AdGuard VPN, the "Web Protection: esetipblacklist.a" notification appears frequently.
How do I solve this?

You might want to review this posting for reference: https://forum.eset.com/topic/34409-eset-not-working-with-vpn-extensions/ .

Are you using AdGuard VPN browser extension version or the stand-alone version?

Bottom line here is the issues raised in the above Nov,, 2022 linked posting were not fully resolved. As such, assume AdGuard VPN is not compatible with Eset at the present time,

In this case the IP blocks are not cause by a mutual clash of the two apps but there seems to be actual attacks from various IP addresses. For instance, 46.100.60.154 is a known source of attacks: https://www.abuseipdb.com/check/46.100.60.154

I am not really surprised by this given AdGuard is a Russian based product. No need to further elabolate.
