Pipo 0
We have multiple LG WebOS tv's in our company. Connecting screen share (WiDi) fails when ESET is active. In the logging i see an error in Dutch related to not being able to connect due to duplicate name. I've checked the DHCP server and all the LG tv's have the same name. Unfortunately, i can only change the descriptive connection name, not the real DNS name. (thank you LG...) Can i exclude the DNS names from ESET so that it stops blocking? Administrators Marcos 4,614 Posted January 31 Administrators Share Posted January 31 Does pausing the firewall make a difference? If so, you can run the firewall troubleshooting wizard to list recently blocked communications and to unblock the desired ones.
Pipo 0
Found this article, seems to work after the exclusion but only once in Win11. If i try to reconnect it fails. I have to remove the bluetooth display device to have it reconnect. Think it's unrelated to ESET though, since it does work on a Win10 laptop. https://support.eset.com/en/kb8202-update-eset-management-agent-via-gpo Edited February 1 by Pipo
