GMER anti rootkit sudden malware?

I have a question regarding the application GMER it was detected as win32 gmer by my eset internet paid version why was it detected when it is used as a tool for detecting rootkits even avast itself the one who integrits its engine with gmer blocks its access???

Its driver is detected as a potentially unsafe application (ie. not with default settings). PUsA cover also legit tools that have been seen to be misused in attacks.

Sir can the app still be trusted i want to keep it for future preparations in case of an attack i want to exclude it in my eset app
