Peter Streimelweger 1
First we could only generate Japanese install packages for weeks, which were also in Japanese after the installation. After waiting a bit for the new update and not getting errors again, I wanted to upgrade to version 10.0.14.0 today. A typical 1603 error is displayed at the end of the setup, also the question whether I want to uninstall everything after the faulty update... If you look at the log, he cannot end the services. Server restarts etc. didn't help at all. Server_x64.msi.log
Administrators Marcos 4,548 Posted January 12 Administrators Share Posted January 12 Looks like insufficient disk space during upgrade. How much free space do you have on the disk where the db is stored? Could not allocate space for object 'sys.syssoftobjrefs'.'clst' in database 'era_db' because the 'PRIMARY' filegroup is full. Create disk space by deleting unneeded files

Solution Peter Streimelweger 1 Posted January 13 Author Solution Share Posted January 13 I was at the 10GB limit of the MS SQL Express version. I upgraded the edition from Express to Enterprise and now I have no problem. Peter Randziak
