Based on a recent posting by an Eset forum moderator here: https://forum.eset.com/topic/35045-im-really-struggling-with-the-little-help-there-is-on-making-that-syslive-flashusb/?do=findComment&comment=161423 , SysRescue is no longer maintained and supported by Eset. That said, this Eset knowledge base article states how to use SysRescue: https://support.eset.com/en/kb3509-how-do-i-use-eset-sysrescue-live-to-clean-my-computer .

Personally, I could never successfully create bootable SysRescue USB media from a .img download on my old PC.

What worked for me was to download the .iso file and use a third party tool such as Rufus: https://rufus.ie/en/ to create bootable media. The only disadvantage of using the .iso download is you have to manually update Eset signature files from SysRescue each time prior to running a scan.

i did use rufus in the first place but eset blocks the files it downloads for the .img to work from flash drive.. you know it download files it stores on a hard drive then the boot works normally but i am still getting Red error "authentication error"

I just downloaded Rufus w/o issue from Eset.

Are you stating that when you run Rufus to create bootable media from the prior downloaded .img file from Eset web site, Eset is detecting its own .img file?

Also and again, have you tried downloading the .iso file and using that as source file in Rufus?
