Hello,

I'm hoping someone  can help, ESET appears to be using a large amount of CPU usage all the time, this is happening on multiple machines.

The machines are all 11th Gen i5's with 16 GB ram

ESET Endpoint Antivirus 9.1.20.60.0

Windows 11 Pro 22H2

Many thanks in advance

Chris

Please carry on as follows:

  1. Reproduce the issue
  2. Enable advanced operating system logging under Tools -> Diagnostic in the advanced setup
  3. After 2-3 minutes stop logging
  4. Collect logs with ESET Log Collector and upload the generated archive here or to a safe location and drop me a private message with a download link.

Computer : Intel Core i5 1035G1 / 16 GB RAM

Thanking you in advance

Please check your personal messages. In this case the problem was having the logging of all blocked operation enabled via a policy in the advanced HIPS setup which caused the HIPS log to grow to almost 3 GB.
