Chris W 0 Posted December 20, 2022 Share Posted December 20, 2022 Hello, I'm hoping someone can help, ESET appears to be using a large amount of CPU usage all the time, this is happening on multiple machines. Administrators Marcos 5,274 Posted December 20, 2022 Administrators Share Posted December 20, 2022 Please carry on as follows: Reproduce the issue Enable advanced operating system logging under Tools -> Diagnostic in the advanced setup After 2-3 minutes stop logging Collect logs with ESET Log Collector and upload the generated archive here or to a safe location and drop me a private message with a download link. In this case the problem was having the logging of all blocked operation enabled via a policy in the advanced HIPS setup which caused the HIPS log to grow to almost 3 GB.
