Protection Setup Failed error

We have some issues with ESET:

1. We have some devices not connected to the internet and we have an alerts on ESET Management Console ( Protection setup failed )
2. We have some devices failed in modules update
3. We have some deices the application version outdated
4. We have some devices HIPS is disabled Although we enable it in the policy

How did you configure Endpoint to update given that the machines are offline? Did you create a local update mirror and pointed Endpoint to update from it? Are these machines completely offline without any connection to a machine would be connected to the Internet and run a proxy server?

If i created a local update mirror, all devices will take its update through it or first they will check the internet then this mirror ?

If you point clients to update from a mirror, they will update from it immediately. However, you'd better install ESET HTTP Proxy or ESET Hub and update through it than to update from a mirror and lose advantages, such as LiveGrid or streamed pico updates.
