Can't ge t rid of "unprotected Wi-Fi" message from banking and Payment protection in firefox

Recommended Posts

My Wi-Fi network is protected by this great thing: sheer geographic isolation. the Banking and Payment protection displays an infobox every time i open a browser which is extremely annoying. and even if I dismiss it, the logo stays there on the side of the browser, which is even worse. How can I get rid of it?

It means that there's constantly an intrusive border around my browser.  Ended up disabling the protection to removes the border, but that is not a solution. This is the first time I'm really annoyed with eset. do not change my UI without my consent!

It is the purpose of Banking and payment protection to provide a secure environment for performing credit transactions. Being connected to an unsecured wi-fi generates a warning that entering any sensitive information in the browser is not secure since the information could leak. It would be against the principles of a secure browser not to warn the user when it's not safe to enter information in a browser.

I had to turn off this protection. Bravo! It's the great solution. Annoying user so they have to turn off the protection. Why I can't pernamently ignored some issues, or why the warnings not appear only at start. Color borders are absolutely annoying - that is not way to more security because user will turning off the protection, because that is the only way!!!
I'm working thru remote desktop and I've never been in banking or paying anything this way, but i have to see permanent yellow border in browser. It's too expressive and luminous.

Indication of insecure connection is important from the security point of view for other ESET users. It's like if you didn't want browsers to warn you about insecure SSL connections when going to bank sites to do transactions.

The problem is not that the eset warn user. The problem is the way how the indication was set. The way how browser warn users about insecure SSL connections is all right.
If the warning is too aggressive to user, user will turn the protection off which will lead to less security on the internet in general.
