"ESET Online Scanner" image/icon appears on desktop and unable to remove it

the "left overs" of online eset antivirus scanner shows on my desktop. All eset apps uninstalled. I can move this half icon across the desktop but it seems it has not got any properties at all just pic to mess with me. what to do?

If you mean the EOS icon below, it's merely a shortcut (LNK) file which is not locked by ESET. If you have permissions to delete other shortcuts on the desktop, it cannot be an issue to remove this one too:
