Please elaborate more on what is not working:

Are other browsers working? Does Edge start working after disabling Banking and payment protection and stops after re-enabling it?

Is Edge opening but not loading sites or refusing to open at all?

Please carry on as follows:

  1. Enable advanced logging under Help and support -> Technical support
  2. Lauch Edge and reproduce the issue
  3. Stop logging
  4. With Edge still running, collect logs with ESET Log Collector and upload the generated archive here.

Which of the steps above is not clear 1,2,3

ESET LOG Collector, I have already downloaded.

ESET LOG Collector how long it should work.
Will there be a signal that he has finished work.

ESET works the same on the virtual computer, so I will do the actions described there.
I do not know the ESET Collector program, which is why I will perform actions described on a virtual computer.
I run a company, my confidential data cannot get out of my computer.

It's OK to collect logs on virtual PC, if issue is present also there.

ESET Log Collector doesn't collect any confidential data, it's intended to collect product logs and state of PC, that may affect product behavior (installed software, running services, some important settings stored in registry, ...).

When you have ESET Log Collector prepared and browser is not running (the best scenario is right after PC start), please:

(step 1) Open ESET Internet Security > Setup > Security tools and ensure, that you have enabled Secure all browsers
step1.PNG

(step 2) Open ESET Internet Security > Help and support > Technical Support > enable Advanced logging
step2.png

(step 3) Open MS Edge (it shouldn't work properly)
(step 4) Disable Advanced logging enabled in step 2
step4.PNG

(step 5) Run ESET Log Collector while browser is still running (it may take 1-2 minutes) and upload here log created by Log Collector (don't worry, it's safe to upload it here, file can be downloaded ony by our support team)

Thank you for your cooperation, it's very helpful for us.

Dear Wozmar, thanks for logs. You did it correctly.

I cannot find any conflicting software, nor configuration. I also tried to create similar environment im my VM like you have, but unfortunately I cannot reproduce any issue.

Can you please do some additional test? If yes, please try some scenarios:

  1. Open ESET product > Setup > Security tools > Turn off Secure all browsersstep1.PNG
  2. Restart PC
  3. Try to open Banking & Payment Protection (BPP) from desktop shortcut, or from product icon (it will open your default browser) and check, if you can visit any website

image.png

If it doesn't help, please continue

4. ESET product > F5 > Web and email > Banking & Payment Protection > disable Enhanced memory protection and try to run BPP from desktop shortcut again.

image.png

If it still doesn't help

5. download Process monitor and run (it will automatically capture logs)
6. try to run BPP from desktop shortcut again. If browser still doesn't work, stop capture and save .pml log (with default settings)

image.png

7. create one more log using Log collector (the same way like previously, when protected browser is still running)
8. upload both pml log and log collector log

If you dont want to follow this steps, but you're willing to share it any other way (share access to VM via TeamViewer/rdp, upload VM), just send me a message.

Thanks for your help.

We can work well through TeamViewer.

I am asking for information on how we will do it.

I installed TeamViewer on VM.

I will conduct a new test on a new virtual machine today. I will install ESET on the C:

Now I have installed on the D disk:

D: \ Programs \ ESET \ ESET Security \

D: \ Programs \ ESET PROGRAMS \ ESET \ ESET Security \

D: \ Programs \ ESET \ ESET Security \ Modules \
