jsoat87 0
When I installed nod32, I didn't select the "enable scan after installation" from the advanced/custom options in installation. What would happen? Did I do something wrong? Should I manually schedule a "first scan" under tools>scheduler? Is manually scheduling a first scan different from enabling the one at the installation? Thank you!
Administrators Marcos 4,910 Posted October 18, 2014 Administrators Share Posted October 18, 2014 You can just run a smart scan and that's it. Even if you don't run it, information about files will be cached the next time they are scanned.
rugk 397
Yes, the first scan is only an on-demand scan of all drives of the computer. It is useful, because it checks the whole computer for threats and additionally later scan will run faster. If you didn't run the scan you can catch it up with running the scan manually.
