ChrisMk 0
I am currently using ESET Smart Security Premium 16.0.22.0. I ran network inspector scan on my trusted home network. ESET initially advised me that it had detected a threat (open port 443) with my modem/router. I then disabled my VPN service (Surfshark) and re-ran the scan. ESET found no issues. Is this therefore just a false threat detection of an open port, which is as the result of using VPN or is my VPN service leaving a port open and therefore vulnerable to be exploited? Administrators Marcos 5,407 Posted October 26, 2022 Administrators Share Posted October 26, 2022 Please carry on as follows: Enable advanced logging under Help and support -> Technical support Reproduce the detection Stop logging Collect logs with ESET Log Collector Open a support ticket and attach the logs, if not too big.
