Reboot after uninstall ESET Endpoint Antivirus 9.0.2046

Hi all!

There was a question, I understand that a reboot is needed and all that.
The question is if you reinstall ESET endpoint antivirus (Manual removal and installation new version) and do not restart the computer, then everything works fine without rebooting.
What is the point of rebooting, please explain. Thank you!

This is to ensure that all modules and drivers are unloaded from memory completely and do not clash with a newer version, especially if there's a bigger difference in versions, e.g. upgrade from v4 to v9.
