Message address cannot be added to "spam address" after computer wakes from sleep.

Recommended Posts

Windows 11 / Office Outlook 2019 /eset internet security 15.  Completely new installation.   (Had same Issue with Win10)

When Windows first boots (before going to sleep)  In outlook I can select a message,  Right click an in the context menu select "spam address".  The message would be automatically moved to the "Junk mail" folder and the address would be added to the spam filter list.

If I close Outlook, allow the computer to go to sleep, after awakening I restart outlook and spam messages are handled as stated above.

HOWEVER

If I leave outlook open, allow the computer to go to sleep, upon wakening right clicking and selecting "spam address" does nothing.

This is a brand new installation of WIn 11, office and eset.   I had the same issue with my old Win10 / office / eset installation.

Any thoughts?

John

If the issue occurs with v9.1.2060, carry on as follows:

  1. Enable advanced logging under Help and support -> Technical support
  2. Reproduce the issue
  3. Stop logging
  4. Collect logs with ESET Log Collector. Open a support ticket and provide the generated archive. If too big to attach and submit via the form, upload it to a safe location and enclose a download link.

Hi Marcos,

Thank you for the response.  However I'm confused about your statement.

I am using eSet internet security V15.2.17.0

Thanks
