Mobile Push doesnt work on android devices (ESET Secure Authentication)

Recommended Posts

Hallo together,

inside our company and also our partnercompany there seems to be a communication problem with the push service on android devices. When ever we try to loginto our programs where push is needed (OneTime PW works, but not with this program) the app says failed to send ansewer or smt like that. This is very bad because alot of our coworkers cant work because of this problem and it doesnt seem to be a local problem.

A information about this topic woulde be nice.

We are currently experiencing issues with push notifications as announced at https://support.eset.com/en/alert8317-push-notification-issues-with-eset-products. OTP authentication works. We're working to resolve the issue as soon as possible.

We apologize for the inconvenience.

We ran into this yesterday at my work.  I have a ticket open with support.  Any ETA by chance on this issue?

Push notifications are working.  However I am unable to provision someone with an Android device.  Is this related?

The issue was resolved yesterday. If you are still experiencing it, it's most likely caused by a proxy caching certificates. Please open a support ticket for help with further troubleshooting.
