drawing too much CPU for my macbook pro

Hi,

I installed ESET Cyber security Pro, version 6.11.100.0 and I have a macbook pro 2016 with osx 11.6.4. since I installed the ESET, the eset_daemon keeps drawing >100% CPU and making my laptop exceptionally hot and slow. I was suggested by ESET team to uninstall it and reinstall it. However, it never worked. I am wondering if there is an other solution to this.

Any help or advice will be greatly appreciated.

You have posted in the Endpoint forum but mentioned having ESET CyberSecurity Pro installed.

If you have an Endpoint license, try installing the latest version of ESET Endpoint Antivirus v7. Otherwise I'd recommend collecting logs as per the instructions at https://support.eset.com/en/kb3404, opening a ticket with your local ESET distributor and supplying the generated archive for perusal.
