E-mail protection (clients and/or protocols)

Recommended Posts

Hello folks,

what about implementing some e-mail protection for e-mail clients and/or protocols (similar to the e-mail protection in Endpoint Security)?

My colleague has sent me a suspicious e-mail from his mobile device recently, in which an "HTML/Phishing.Agent.CFI" Trojan horse has been detected at my workstation (e-mail client Mozilla Thunderbird with Endpoint Security and active e-mail IMAP protocol filtering). Mobile Security app has not detected this Trojan, which can be a potential major security issue. Thus, such e-mail protection for mobile devices would be very useful (especially in a company environment).

Regards

Viktor

Android doesn't provide any way how to perform protocol filtering. Moreover, scanning of scripts is very limited there too.
