Permissions

Recommended Posts

Hi,

I've stared using eset mobile security recently and turned on all recommended functions.

However the app demands many permissions including the ones which can take control of the whole device. I understand it is necessary for the correct usage, nevertheless it's also bringing some concerns about privacy. I'd like to ask if it's really safe to use when knowing my data, location and more.

I'd also like to know if ,when using anti-phishing e.g., the app can see the browser history or spy on me.

Thank you

  • Marcos changed the title to Permissions

Antivirus programs integrate as deeply as possible into operating systems.

Anti-phishing doesn't access browser's history.
