safety 5
Hello! We have several requests from Windows XP customers who cannot activate ESET V9 with ECP.20006 error. (The same issue with Endpoint Antivirus 6.5.) Also, we have reproduced the error in our test environment. Could you help to solve this issue, please? Thanks a lot! ESET Moderators Peter Randziak 1,084 Posted August 10, 2022 ESET Moderators Share Posted August 10, 2022 Hello, colleague tried to install and activate the v.9 and it worked. Anyway as the version 9 is already EoL ( https://support-eol.eset.com/en/policy_home/product_tables.html ), please use a supported version of ESET product to install and activate, ideally the latest one available at https://www.eset.com/int/download-home/ Peter

We have a problem on x32 systems.
itman 1,630
Does the Win XP installation have SP3 installed? safety 5
Yes, XP x32 with all available updates. Also some corporate customers have the same issue with v6.5. We were able to activate it using offline *LF file, but now updates is unavailable - Wrong Username and Password error. The customer is from Kazakhstan and uses KZ license, it is Active. Dear itman, the product may not be supported, but this does not mean that it should not be activated and update its databases.

safety 5
@itman, EEA 6.5 is supported on Windows XP as we can see there:https://support.eset.com/en/kb7443-solution-for-eset-endpoint-product-65 "We strongly suggest upgrading ESET Endpoint Antivirus/ESET Endpoint Security 6.5 to the latest version of ESET Endpoint Antivirus/ESET Endpoint Security 7.3 (Windows 7 and later) or to the latest version of ESET Endpoint Antivirus 6.5.2132.6/ESET Endpoint Security 6.5.2132.6 (Windows XP)." Anyway, we were able to reproduce this issue also on Windows 7 with all available updates, and we have the request also from Kazakhstan customers, so I don't think that it is because of sanctions....
