Not Sure if manually running a System Startup file check works

When I go to Tools > More Tools > Scheduler, right-click a System Startup file check and then choose Run Now then nothing shows up in the logs to indicate that it finished.  I am at Diagnostic level with logs and have checked under Computer Scans, Events, Detections, and HIPS but there is nothing logged about the file check at all. I have two System startup file checks - one for files ran before login and one for files ran after login. I am not sure why there is no logging activity for either one and I am wondering if the checks really ran like I told them to.

If you hover the mouse cursor over the ESET tray icon, it should display "Startup scan in progress". However, it can be too quick to notice it. The scan will not records anything in logs unless a threat has been detected.
