Someone Logged-on to Anti-Theft Device - Not Me

Recommended Posts

This morning started desktop from OFF and found the -- Special Anti-Theft Win 10 Profile page -- After - the same event yesterday when it was Awakened From just Sleep. 2 Emails last night 8:21 / 8:26 PM are Timed when the Computer was OFF - not asleep - and state Someone HAS Logged-on to the device using the Phantom Acct. ANOTHER email today 7:54 a.m. WHEN Computer still OFF.

Does Logged-on Always mean a Password was entered as THAT did NOT Occur - particularly since the computer was OFF at the times.

I wasted over a year of Android Lic (uninstalled) because Anti-Theft kept taking pics of me watching TV, driving, .... Now it's the Desktop.

Presume a Sppt Tkt will be recommended but I wanted to start here. Thanks for any suggestions.

Marcos, is there a simple link to get to the Sppt Form?

I'm going in circles with the Choose an Option B4 Contacting N American Sppt and anything I do comes back to this page below?

Self-help modules are a Waste and I tried a few.

Thanks, itman, BUT no matter what i Clk I Cannot find the Page You show.

Need the Link of the Page you posted.

I can find no link to directly access Eset N.A. e-mail tech support submission page. Figures because everything about Eset N.A. support is always an ever loving hassle.

Chat is still available till 6:00 PM PST. Maybe they can provide you with a direct link.

My First Chat attempt with Ryan -- GOT ME THE SAME bleeping "Choose an Option Site Before Contacting ... SITE" I posted.

When I tried a follow-up link he gave it Left the Page and WITH NO BACKSPACE I lost the Chat.

Will Try again but hope Marcos knows the Link.

Got Ryan on 2nd Chat and stumbled onto Form Page from same link - different clk, which the CIA will be interested in for its Stealth value in hiding agents.

Will explain How I found it after I do form, IF I can Find it again.

OK, Tech Sppt Form as follows .....from https://www.eset.com/us/#    .......Far Top Rt Support Link ..... Email Sppt Link .... Home User Sppt Link below green block .... Other Issue or Feedback link at bottom .....Technical Question or Issue with Eset Product..... Varied Fix Links BUT AT BOTTOM is - Thanks Issue Solved - AND - NO Still Need Tech Sppt - Form Appears per Still Need Tech Sppt.

And, I actually should Disable Anti-Theft on the Desktop as it's not like losing a phone. Will see what they say.

Thanks, Marcos, but THAT link, Too, gets the same "Green Block" page I first posted about with ... Choose an Option B4 Contacting.

The Key (from that page) is knowing the --- 6 Links Clk's requd to find the Form.

The 7 Steps (6 from your link) just above should be made into a Sticky as your recommending Opening a Ticket is (currently) just a recipe for frustration. Me not finding the Form is expected --- itman not finding it is Proof.

What about https://go.eset.com/contact-support/ ? I'm not from the US but this should take your to your local technical support form.

In the U.S., the above link redirects to here: https://www.eset.com/us/support/contact/ . It appears the option for e-mail tech support per below screen shot is broken. When selected, it just re-displays the same web page.

What about this one? I got there after going through the wizard: https://www.eset.com/us/support/contact/

Err ......... that's the same link I previously posted?

Again, refer to my prior posting above. Mouse click on the "Support" button at the top of the web page. Then mouse click on "E-mail support." What is displayed is the same web page instead of the form to make an e-mail tech support request.

Sorry to Bump other Threads but this is the last ....

At a Re-Start Win 10 popup-- Someone Else is Using the Computer - Re-Start Anyway? -- When I look at the Start / Profiles icon I see my main Admin Acct AND the Phantom Acct Profile icon BUT Phantom shows -- Sign-In -- when I clk it. Can't determine WHY Win 10 would say someone else is using computer ---- UNLESS I'm being Hacked & don't see it.

To DELETE the Phantom Acct & Profile is it Best via Eset Home / Anti-Theft module/ Settings/ Phantom Acct state / Delete -- OR via Control Panel User Accts? Will do that & see what happens.

Many Thanks! (Glad Tech Sppt Form was found. Thanks itman / Marcos!!)
