Is there anything else about the look and feel of the product you wish was different? If so, please state why.

If so, please state why. Everything else is perfect actually.Until now no freeze problems or other. As I'm one of the administrator of Kafan forum(biggest antivirus forum in China) and I ran a survey, the result shows most of them don't like the icon change.I have to say they like the traditional style.Maybe a option to change according to the users' needs will be fine. GothicDeath 4
Would not mind the eye icon coming back my self. @ESET If you want a graphic designer and really still want to change the eye icon. Let me know the pixel and file types needed and what you are looking for on the new look and will see what I come up with.

GothicDeath 4
The ESET "eye" icon still remains in the system tray. Really, that is interesting. For me on win8 x64. Their is no "eye" icon in system tray. Its the "e" icon logo.
ESET Insiders xxJackxx 79 Posted June 13, 2013 ESET Insiders Share Posted June 13, 2013 (edited) The ESET "eye" icon still remains in the system tray. Really, that is interesting. For me on win8 x64. Their is no "eye" icon in system tray. Its the "e" icon logo. Same here. Good to see the icon is one of the biggest complaints. Hopefully testing will go well. Actually after looking at them together myself, I think I prefer the new icon. The eye from the 2.x versions was cool but the more recent ones don't do much for me. ESET Insiders pbmcmlxxi 52 Posted June 14, 2013 ESET Insiders Share Posted June 14, 2013 The ESET "eye" icon still remains in the system tray. Same for me as others, no eye in the system tray on Windows 8 *64, just the E logo.
ESET Insiders PodrskaNORT 17 Posted June 14, 2013 ESET Insiders Share Posted June 14, 2013 On the other hand.. from the support guy point of view new icon could lead to easier navigation of customers to open ESET program? Before: - "Can you click on eye-icon on your right down part of screen.." - "What eye? There is no eye.." - "OK, stylish kind of eye.." - "I have like 7 stylish kind of eye-icons there.." - "Click on the one that shows 'ESET..blabla' in tooltip.." - "What is tooltip?" - ...etc :-) Now: - "Can you click on 'e'-icon in your right down part of screen.." - "OK, a windows opened!" :-) Tomo

harsha_mic 4
the new e icon looked very different for first few days, but as days passed by, i tend to like the new icon better and in alignment W8 i think.
ESET Insiders stackz 109 Posted June 18, 2013 ESET Insiders Share Posted June 18, 2013 At first I thought eeeek, but I've kind of become used to the new icon. Also, it's more in keeping with the appearance of the 'e' in the eset logo.
Guest mana
I prefer eye icon. Feels different but e logo reminds me explorer or something else.(some business apps)Do you add "Check for Updates" at Tray menu.?I hope that you add update command at tray menu. DinGo 22
I prefer the eye icon but the e icon is also ok. I really don't mind what the tray icon looks like for an AV, protection is the main issue.

Duluc 6
The new logo is not bad, I kinda like it better than "the eye", but it needs some polishing around the edges. Besides, the "E" is Eset trademark logo and so represents better the product.
