Unresponsive install window on startup

Every time I start my computer, I get a window that asks me if I would like to install eset. It is unresponsive and must be shut down in task manager. I tried to reinstall, but upon uninstall, it seems it was never deleted and will not download or run the program. Online, it says I am up to date and protected, but tbh, this has been the buggiest, worst experience I have ever had with security software.

it sounds like something is launching an installer whenever the system is started, maybe a logon script runs an msi installer. If you temporarily disconnect the machine from the network and reboot the machine, does the installer window pop up?

Also please provide logs collected with ESET Log Collector which might shed more light.
