Silent 0
Hello, is it possible to set up a list of applications I want a report on by the management agent? We are moving towards 10.000 hosts in our Eset PROTECT and I don't want the database to bulk up by getting reports on ALL the software that are installed on our close to 10.000 hosts. Just want to check on maybe 4-5 applications. Only need the management agent to report those. If it is not possible currently would you mind adding this for the future so that one can provide a product name and the management agent reports on every installed software that hits the partial-name provided? Example: I provide the backup software "Veeam" to be reported by the mangement agents. The management agent only reports this software on every host it can reach. It will return "Veeam Agent" as well as "Veeam Backup and Replication" and of course other Veeam products that contain "Veeam" in their software name. Silent 0
I know about the report templates, thank you. 🙂 My concern is about the database being stuffed with unnecessarily reported software by thousands of management agents. Let's says I have 1000 hosts with each of them having 80 non-eset software installed. How much will my Eset PROTECT database grow?
Administrators Marcos 5,274 Posted July 11, 2022 Administrators Share Posted July 11, 2022 Assuming that you don't have a lot of unique applications installed per client, reporting all applications should not cause the server db to grow a lot. We recommended trying it out.

Administrators Marcos 5,274 Posted July 20, 2022 Administrators Share Posted July 20, 2022 We didn't measure how much the server db would grow if mainly unique applications were installed on x machines. You can create a support ticket for further investigation.
