JimChev3 9 Posted June 30, 2022 Posted June 30, 2022 After installing the most recent ESET Endpoint Security 9.1.2051.0 to a test grouping of clients, those clients are now shutting down after a scheduled scan with no post-scan behavior selected. This is occurring on both Win10 and Win11 clients. Event log shows: The process C:\Program Files\ESET\ESET Security\ekrn.exe (ComputerName) has initiated the power off of computer ComputerName on behalf of user NT AUTHORITY\SYSTEM for the following reason: Other (Planned) Reason Code: 0x80000000 Shutdown Type: power off Behavior is identical to what happened back in v7.2, as referenced in this thread: I've shut down the scheduled scans for now to prevent the computers from shutting down, but a quick fix for this would be very helpful as I don't like not scanning regularly.
