mpriceSWS 0 Posted June 13, 2022 Share Posted June 13, 2022 (edited) We have ESET Endpoint AV on our machines, however, it is not detecting EICAR in a adobe pdf javascript popup (attached), does ESET not check this or is there a configuration required? Administrators Marcos 5,074 Posted June 13, 2022 Administrators Share Posted June 13, 2022 The definition of eicar is available at https://www.eicar.org/download-anti-malware-testfile/: Any anti-virus product that supports the EICAR test file should detect it in any file providing that the file starts with the following 68 characters, and is exactly 68 bytes long.
