Andras Pavel 0 Posted June 5, 2022 Posted June 5, 2022 Hello, It started like a week ago, on all our windows servers where we have ESET File Security every few hours (3-4) there is an MSIEXEC message in the Windows event log with the following message: Windows Installer installed the product. Product Name: ESET Server Security. Product Version: 8.0.12013.0. Product Language: 1033. Manufacturer: ESET, spol. s r.o.. Installation success or error status: 1624. We have no any install tasks running for these servers. I tried the upgrade from ESET File Security version 8.0.12013.0 to 9.0.12012.0, but other than one of my DC no longer booted, no change. Could you kindly help why we get this? Thanks, Andras
Administrators Marcos 5,468 Posted June 5, 2022 Administrators Posted June 5, 2022 I'd check dynamic groups in ESET PROTECT if you have a software install task set to run upon joining the dynamic group. Or you have a software install task scheduled to run in a certain interval.
