Guest Harriet
My grandmother uses ESET Cyber Security on her Mac minis. She needs to set up a VPN as well. I am helping her with this, and I was looking at ExpressVPN. However, I need to know if ExpressVPN would interfere with ESET, and if so, what can be done? Her Macs run macOS Big Sur (11) and macOS High Sierra (10.13). She would need the VPN on both. Thank you. Harriet. Link to comment
Administrators Marcos 5,242 Posted May 7, 2022 Administrators Share Posted May 7, 2022 I assume it will work. You can install a trial version of ESET to find out and make sure it works prior to purchasing a license. Link to comment
Guest Harriet
She already uses ESET with a license. What we need to know is whether ESET would think ExpressVPN is another antivirus program--I am aware that running two antivirus programs on one machine can cause chaos. Thank you for your time, Harriet Link to comment
Administrators Marcos 5,242 Posted May 7, 2022 Administrators Share Posted May 7, 2022 It should be just VPN according to their website. Link to comment
