hweimer 0 Posted September 13, 2014 Share Posted September 13, 2014 I installed a 30 day trial eset on my brand new hp pavilion desktop. Since I did, it has slowed to nearly a halt. I did not realize desktop came with MacAfee--perhaps the two programs are conflicting? I just wish to uninstall Eset at this time but have not been permitted to. ESET Moderators Aryeh Goretsky 378 Posted September 13, 2014 ESET Moderators Share Posted September 13, 2014 Hello, As you determined, ESET's software and McAfee's should not be installed at the same time lest conflicts occur. Try going to Programs and Features (filename: APPWIZ.CPL) and uninstalling ESET Smart Security from there. At that point, you can uninstall the trial version of McAfee from the HP Pavilion desktop following McAfee's instructions.
