shkoda 0
Good afternoon Tell me if it is possible to receive e-mail notifications about the installation or removal of software. Very interested in notifications about the removal of ESET products. Thank you!
Administrators Marcos 4,192 Posted April 23 Administrators Share Posted April 23 What you could do is create a dynamic group with computers that don't have an ESET security product installed and then create a new notification triggered by dynamic group changes. shkoda 0
Indeed, this method worked. And the change trigger sends letters. But in these letters it is not clear on which computer the event occurred. I tried to add the variable "${computer_name}" - it does not show the name of the PC
Administrators Marcos 4,192 Posted April 25 Administrators Share Posted April 25 We would like to learn more about the use-case. Does it happen that users uninstall ESET without your knowledge and you want to be informed about uninstallation? How would you use the computer names if they were enclosed in the notification? shkoda 0
I understand. We have 6 admins in our department 24 hours a day. Sometimes there are cases when there is a need to remove ESET in order to test some malfunctions on the user's PC. I need to understand where and when the software was uninstalled. Find the person responsible and find out the reasons for his act. PC name needed for the report
