SSL Filtering and Proxy Certificate

Hello,

I have an incompatibility between Eset Endpoint Security and my web proxy.

In order to increase security of my network, I have enabled both SSL filtering in Eset and SSL in my Web Proxy. I imported Web Proxy certificate in ESET and... when I surf in a website that is blocked by Web Proxy I see the Web Proxy alert message. That's fine.

But... this behavior occurs only if I set my web proxy for a simple url scan, if I configure proxy for a complete deep scan and I try to surf to a blacklisted web page, I got the error PR_END_OF_FILE_ERROR.

I know that this behavior could be caused by the way in which the proxy manages the certificate. Does anyone suggest me what other test can I try to do?

NB. The options for imported certificate are: Access: allow, scan as action.

Thanks

Is the problem that access to a website blacklisted/blocked by ESET is not actually blocked?

No, the problem is that if a website is blocked by proxy, I don't see the warning message of the proxy....

I should see the message I attached right now (ok.png) ... but I see PR_END_OF_FILE_ERROR error.

End of file error.png
