AD sync trouble

Recommended Posts

I am getting confused implementing AD sync in a way that makes sense to me. I run my AD sync task, and a specific computer is staying in lost and found. It's not moving to the respective folder found in AD. There is many computers that act in this way. Is there a right way to do this and have the process animated? I'm thinking I have to run AD sync task, then run remove unlicensed computers.

We commonly upgrade computers and switch licenses often. To remove a license I click the computer and hit remove --> stop managing. After I hit remove --> remove device. This doesn't appear to deactivate the license on the old machine. We our over our limit, and our license is expiring soon and I am trying to clean this up to see how many licenses we need to renew.
