changing password manager password without knowing recovery key

Recommended Posts

I am upgrading to the new Password manager but when I put my password in which I use for ESET it is not being recognised _ I assumed I would have used the same password for ESET and the password manager (master password). I have said I have forgotten but then it asks for the recovery key and I cannot remember seeing one when I changed over to ESET a couple of years ago. How can I either find the recovery key or change master password without the recovery key- is it the license key?

If you don't know the master password nor the recovery key, I'm afraid there's no way to regain access to your password store.
